What I Wore: NYFW FW18

Look #1

The first look for FW was a pretty simple one! I wanted to be warm, but I also wanted something cropped. I've seen a lot of really long or really short coats, so I decided to do a little DIY on this yellow denim jacket from H&M (only $20). Don't mind me tooting my own horn, but I must say I love it. I matched it with some comfortable denim from American Eagle, and my trusty Topman shearling coat. Finally, I topped it off with some necklaces, which if you don't already know, make any outfit a little more cool. Oh, and I can't forget my Gucci loafers.

Look #2

The next look was one of my favorites. I'm always in the mood to wear stripes, especially Beetlejuice stripes. What better than the allusion of a striped jumpsuit? It's actually a separate shirt and pants, but the stripes almost lined up perfectly. The Gucci belt bag worked in my favor by giving even more of an allusion I was wearing a jumpsuit. This look was a lot, I know, but adding the grey coat totally toned it down, making for such a cool look. I'm also trying to hop on board the dad shoe trend with my classic Reeboks. They're no Triple S's but a guy can wish right?

Look #3

This look is a tie with look #2 for my favorite of FW. I loved the way everything fit and how it came together. I wanted to wear my cricket sweater, but I didn't want the outfit to be too "smart." That gave me the idea of going for something super baggy, so I added a really oversized white shirt with the sleeves going past the sweater sleeves. Then, I added my cord flares that are from Zara (sod out). Surprising not only you but myself too, I didn't opt for any necklaces Just a few small rings. I linked similar shoes and coat above!

One more thing - small sunnies

I was all about the tiny trendy sunglasses this trip. I currently have 3 pair: a vintage rayban style, and 2 from a gas station. I linked 2 different styles if you're interested in possibly getting on board with the trend. However, the ones below are a little big to be considered tiny, so they're a great way to try tiny sunglasses without getting too small.

A Partial Look #4

I wasn't able to get this look properly photographed because I was only in NYC for a few hours the day I wore this. I still figured I'd go through it with you guys since I liked it! The main part of the outfit is the Band of Outsiders track jacket! I'm absolutely obssesed with the color and the fit. It's sort of cropped, but long enough too. I'm debating getting the matching pants to have a whole suit.
